Entrepreneurship Course
Overview: The course aims to inspire and equip those who wish to start up businesses with a highly focused entrepreneurial curriculum in terms of knowledge, know-how, and skills necessary to create a business idea and to formulate business plan as a scenario for competitive and successful business start up.
Prerequisite: (1) strong motivation to start up a new business, (2) certain level of English, (3) basic knowledge of computer usage and mathematics, (4) full attendance and formulation of a business plan
Target: Those who wish to bring business idea into reality successfully with knowledge, know-how, and skills of modern business development and management
Course Contents:
Issues and business idea creation for start up
Basic accounting and finance
Marketing and sales promotion
Issues on potential target industries (case studies)
Business planning
Admission: Application form selection and interview Number of students: 20 Date: Monday, 25 June 2007 to Friday, 28 September 2007(100 hours, 40 lectures, weekday night) Time: 5:50 pm- 8:30 pm Cost and Facilities: The tuition fee is US$ 180 per complete course. The course will be taught by a number of experienced Japanese lecturers in English with interpretation into Khmer. The course consists of (1) in-class lecture, case discussion, and exercises and (2) the student entrepreneurs are interacted with relevant industry experts and business owners with constant support and guidance from the lecturers. Every participant is required to formulate business idea into business plan for successful launch of business. Text book, materials, and certificate will be provided by CJCC.
Orientation:Saturday, 26 May 2007 (9:00-10:30 a.m.). Orientation of the Corporate Management, Entrepreneurship course and consulting service will be held atCambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC).
