JICA-Net .

JICA-Net is a distance technical cooperation project promoted by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).It is a new program for international cooperation to complement JICA's technical cooperation that uses a wide range of information and communication technology, such as video conferencing, multimedia contents and internet applications.

Main activities of JICA-Net are as follows.
1- Distance Lecture and Seminars

By utilizing video conference facilities, the center conducts lectures and seminars to be held with overseas participants and lecturers. This system allows for opportunities for participation in seminars even when experts cannot be sent to the center. It also provides opportunities to choose lectures from a wide variety of fields.
2- Video Conferencing

Video conferencing enables meetings, symposiums, and knowledge exchanges, which prior to this technology, were difficult to conduct because of distance constraints. Real-time communication using audio and video images improves mutual understanding and smoothes out the process of consensus building.
3- Multimedia Contents

We produce learning materials such as CD-ROM's and videos to meet people's needs. These can be used for many purposes, such as self-learning, or as complements to seminars, lectures and awareness programs, etc.

Various programs related to JICA-NET will be planned in CJCC. If you have a chance, please join our JICA-NET programs.
