CAMBODIA-JAPAN COOPERATION CENTER (CJCC)

Greetings!

With strong effort to develop human resources in Cambodia and to promote mutual understanding between Cambodians and Japaneses, CJCC has performed its role as a communication and learning center for the two nations and others. For more than four years since the official inauguration, CJCC has conducted various business seminars, business training courses, Japanese language training courses, as well as Cambodia-Japan cultural exchange activities.

 For the forthcoming weeks, CJCC is conducting several special activities. You can read on for your understanding and benefit.
 

  Business Seminar: "Concepts and Applications of PDCA Cycle: Implications for your business improvement"
By Dr. Ryo SASAKI, International Development Center of Japan

PDCA Cycle is the most widely in the business of manufacturing as well as other business sectors. It is very effective when finding the hidden issues out and creating your business strategy. PDCA Cycle is also used by most of Japanese enterprises for their all sorts of improvement. It is often applied to sales forecasting, quality control and market research. Do you usually meet the problem with the strategic analysis by knowing your actual situation? This course is designed to equip participants a set of techniques of PDCA Cycle, which will be used for a much better decision making for daily business operation.

     3. Current trend of Check: Performance Measurement

Dr. Ryo SASAKI is a lecturer of Graduate School of Social Design Study, Rikkyo (Saint Paul’s) University, Japan and a senior researcher of International Development Center of Japan (IDCJ). Dr. Ryo SASAKI was a graduate of western Michigan University, USA. He has years of experience in research and evaluation for various projects.

This seminar will be conducted in a very interactive way by using cases provided by lecturer. Materials and coffee breaks will be provided. The seminar will be conducted in ENGLISH with consecutive interpretation into Khmer.   Intensive Course: "Total Quality Management (TQM) Perspective: Effective Management Improvement"

Continual management improvement is essential to keep and improve competitiveness of a company. CJCC is proudly presenting one of the tools and techniques for achieving competitiveness in today’s business operation for Cambodian SMEs, who are preparing for challenges and growth.

  Intensive Course: "Statistics Analysis for Business Management: Feel Statistics Closer to Your Business"
By Dr. Ryo SASAKI, International Development Center of Japan

Statistics is the most widely used quantitative method in business. It is concerned with extracting the best possible information from data in order to aid decision making. It is often applied to sales forecasting, quality control and market research. Do you usually meet the problem with the statistics analysis? This course is designed to equip participants a set of techniques of statistical analysis, which will be used for a much better decision making for daily business operation. At the end of the course, participants will feel more confident and will never feel cheated by the numbers.


Contents:

    - Mean, Variance and Standard Deviation of average and monthly fluctuation of your sales and production

    - Dependent t-test and Independent t-test of past customer satisfaction yours and the rival

    - Regression with the time-series data. How much was the REAL effect of your new sales campaign? Calculate the effect by comparing with your rival groups (Regression with the cross-section data)

    - Detect the special factors influencing your sales and explore the invisible structure behind the market. (Structural equation modeling using SPSS AMOS).
