Business Training & Networking activity/service has been conducted to cater to the changing needs of the business and job market, mainly in private sectors. It is one of the three main pillars of the center which aims to create the opportunity for participants to succeed in the job and business markets as well as to contribute to the development of Cambodia through human resource development and networking. The three main business-related activities at CJCC deals with Business Training, Business Support Services, and Business Network.

The training courses were designed to different customer groups as depicted in the following diagram. There are 3 key concepts for all courses: (1) to provide Japanese knowledge/experience that ts Cambodian context, (2) to focus on the real world, offering more practical rather than theoretical aspects and (3) to upgrade and encourage young entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Overall, Business Training special features contain:

  • More practical than theory
  • High quality courses with reasonable fee
  • Qualified overseas and local lecturers with many years of hands-on experience
  • Opportunity to expand business network

Recently, many business network teams in the form of association, club or federation, especially young business owners, have been formed so as to strengthen and expand their businesses and to prepare themselves for the upcoming ASEAN community integration. Grasping this opportunity, CJCC has created a new networking activity that is envisaged to bring together executives in diverse businesses and to enhance, in particular, business capacity through networking between nominated Cambodian & Japanese businesspeople. Business Network activity covers Cambodia-Japan Business and Investment (CJBI), and Business Show.

CJCC helps support other programs such as International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) Forum, Honda Young Engineer and Scientist’s (Y-E-S) Award Program, JICA Executive Training, and Global Enterprise Challenge (GEC).
