Education development program covers Study-in-Japan fair, Study tour exchange program from Japanese university, Toyama home-stay program, and Khmer language class for JOCV-SV.

StudyJPFair

It is a very popular event of the support studying in Japan program in Cambodia. Every year, there are many universities from Japan come and make their own booths at Angkor- Kizuna Hall, CJCC. Students who are interested in studying in Japan can ask the information of scholarship, fees and other useful information from the university representatives. CJCC hosts this fair once every year during November. If Cambodian people really wish to study in Japan, they come and get the information.

StudyExchangeTour

Study tour exchange program from Japanese university is conducted upon application from Japanese universities in Japan. This program is normally conducted from August which is summer holiday season of Japan. The purpose of the program is to foster a cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Japanese student and Cambodian student.

ToyamaHomeStay

Toyama home-stay program is organized by Toyama Cambodia association. This program eligible three Cambodian students who are studying Japanese language. Selection steps are Essay writing and Interview session which requires student using the Japanese language. The purpose of the program is promoting Japanese culture to Cambodian people through an exchange program in Toyama prefecture in Japan during 10 days. Especially, strengthening the relationship and understanding between Cambodia and Japan. The schedule of the program is normally arranged depend on association provide.

Khmer Language Class for SV-JOCV, This class is provided in Khmer language to Japanese volunteer of JICA by experienced Khmer native lecturers. This class is conducted upon request by JICA.
