Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) is Cambodia’s governmental organization under the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan Foundation (JF) are providing technical cooperation project to further develop the center's operation based on the agreement between governments of Cambodia and Japan. CJCC was established in 2004 with the purpose of training and enhancing Human Resource Development to ensure highly competent and qualified human resources, and to continue strengthening and expanding mutual understanding and cooperation between Cambodia and Japan through the three main activities of Business Training, Japanese Language Training, and Culture and Exchange Program.

 

CJCC is now seeking for qualified candidates to fill positions of 1) Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Project Coordinator, 2) IT Intern, and 3) Business Training Intern.

 

1. Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Project Coordinator

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an official test to measure Japanese language ability conducted by the Japan Foundation. It has been conducted in Cambodia since 2006 and takes place twice a year in July and December.


Responsibilities:

  • Cambodian who can work with a strong sense of responsibility
  • JLPT N2 holder or similar (Negotiable with N3, but you have to be able to read and write some documents in Japanese.)
  • PC skills (Ability to make documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • A good command of English
  • Can work more than 1 year
  • University graduates

Working Hours 

  • From Mon-Fri (You can flexibly choose the time according to your Schedule, by part-time (4 hours). You will be busy right before the test day in the period.

Job Descriptions

  • Perform administrative works
  • Contact with another test centers
  • Coordinate works with part times staffs
  • Other JLPT related jobs required by CJCC

Monthly Salary

Salary of above position will be offered based on qualifications and experiences.

2. IT Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing ICT in the workplace
  • Assist in updating information on CJCC website
  • Always support other hubs with IT related request to ensure internal customers’ satisfaction
  • Assist in promoting CJCC’s activities through social media (Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in the field of IT or equivalence
  • Willing to learn new and up to date technologies
  • Knowledge of content management software, Joomla, computer troubleshooting, and social media management
  • Strong motivation, good attitude, and high responsibility
  • Good at customer care, communication and problem solving
  • Good command of English

 

3. Business Training Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare questionnaire format
  • Send course evaluation to members
  • Contact with lecturers
  • Contact with companies and restaurants for company visit
  • Assist trainer or guest speaker guest speaker for business training course and seminar
  • Prepare handout materials • Confirm with lecturer/participants about class and room layout, class materials
  • Prepare name badge, student list, and attendant list
  • Book and control refreshment
  • Entry email data into group mail
  • Prepare course flyer for sales and marketing for all course
  • Input department meeting activities to business training form activities
  • Support team and other events in CJCC

Requirements:

  • Associate degree/bachelor in education, business administration or related fields
  • Experience in administration, preparing learning/teaching materials is preferred
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
  • Good at communication, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving
  • Strong motivation, good attitude, and high responsibility
