Culture & Education Exchange Program

CJCC’s culture and educational exchange programs aim to strengthen and expand the mutual understanding and relationship between Cambodia and Japan by conducting cultural classes and events, and also sharing information related to scholarship opportunities to study in Japan.

Cambodian and Japanese Seasonal Event covers Japan-Cambodia Kizuna Festival, Tanabata Festival, Bon Odori festival, and Harvest Moon Festival.

Culture Class covers Khmer and Japanese cooking class, and Japanese flower arrangement class.

Education development program covers Study-in-Japan fair, Study tour exchange program from Japanese university, Toyama home-stay program.

seasonal display

Cambodian and Japanese Seasonal Display is always displayed around at CJCC with the special occasion and normally announced to the public via CJCC social media before the class starts. The most popular culture related program is origami. It is the traditional Japanese art of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. The history of Khmer and Japanese Traditional events (New Year Day, Water Festival, Pchum Ben Day, Moon Festival, Doll Festival, etc.) is normally displayed at CJCC lobby. Many Japanese seasonal event celebrations (Mother & Father Day, etc.) are conducted at CJCC. Please stay tuned with our activities.

Other culture programs cover Friendship Concert, Nodojiman, Japanese movie show, CJCC culture club, and Joint special performance with other organizations.
