Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) successfully hosted the Job Fair 2025 on August 22 (Fri) and 23 (Sat), 2025. Responding to strong requests from participating companies and organizations, the event was expanded from one day to two days. A total of 45 exhibitors joined, including 16 Japanese companies, 24 Cambodian companies, and 5 international and public organizations.
Over the two days, the fair welcomed 3,467 students and job seekers. Attendees actively engaged in one-on-one consultations at company booths, listened to corporate PR sessions in seminar rooms, and watched introduction videos. The lively atmosphere reflected the enthusiasm of young people seriously seeking employment opportunities, which in turn inspired and energized the participating companies.

This year, International Labour Organization (ILO) also joined the fair, providing practical information for Cambodian youth aspiring to work abroad. Their sessions covered topics such as how to work safely in Japan, available support organizations, and important points to keep in mind. In addition, CJCC offered a CV review service, giving students the chance to receive direct feedback and concrete advice from CJCC staff.

A special Career Workshop was also held, featuring speakers from National Employment Agency (NEA) of Cambodia, City of Yokohama, and JETRO Cambodia Office. NEA provided essential information for those aiming to secure employment within Cambodia, while JETRO introduced Japan’s specialized job portal for highly skilled professionals and shared the latest hiring trends. Yokohama City highlighted its working and living environment as an international city, followed by an engaging Q&A session where participants showed strong interest.

Even after the event, CJCC continues to support participants by sharing job postings from exhibiting companies through its Facebook page “Job Information Club” and on-site bulletin boards. These follow-up efforts help ensure that connections made during the fair lead to real career opportunities.
CJCC remains committed to working closely with Japanese companies, international organizations, and local partners to empower Cambodia’s young talent and support their career development in the years ahead.
