The Japanese language course at CJCC was adopted based on the Japan Foundation Standard for Japanese-Language Education (JFS), based on the concept of supporting the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the basis of language education in Europe.
The program includes a scene from "Marugoto Japanese Language and Culture" where individuals from various ethnic backgrounds converse in Japanese about different subjects. The course syllabus is specifically designed to provide an enjoyable learning experience of Japanese language and culture through various class activities.
Specificity
At CJCC, the Japan Foundation (JF) not only provides teaching materials but also supports teaching pedagogy. Trained Cambodian and Japanese teachers collaborate to lead classes, enabling learners to achieve more profound learning. There are 3 main levels available starting from basic Japanese (Marugoto 1, 2, and 3), pre-intermediate (Marugoto 4), and intermediate (Marugoto 5 and 6).
