As part of our efforts to support Cambodian students aiming to pursue higher education in Japan, the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), in collaboration with the Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan (ASEAN)/Okayama University, organized the “Study-in-Japan Fair 2024.”
The fair took place at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) from November 7 to 8, 2024 (9 AM to 4:30 PM). 12 highly reputable universities and institutions from across Japan as well as two scholarship providers: Japanese government scholarship (MEXT Scholarship) and the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) attended this fair which attracted over 1000 participants.
Additionally to the 2 days activities of the fair, the Opening and Welcome Dinner was held on November 6, 2024 at the Restaurant of Hotel Emion Phnom Penh as the pre-activity. This event allowed Dr. KHIM Leang, Director of CJCC to officially giving a sincere thanks to all the Cambodian and Japanese organizations who have supported in organizing this fair and welcome the participating universities and institutions for the Study-in-Japan Fair 2024.
The Study-in-Japan Fair 2024 was considered a remarkable educational event organized by CJCC to encourage and take advantage of the chance for Cambodian students to access high-quality education in Japan. Students who participated in this fair had the opportunity to consult about studying in Japan with the presentative from each university in person, attending the seminar, and receiving various useful documents for free.
Besides the Study-in-Japan Fair, Cambodian students who wish to pursue their education in Japan can find information through the website http://www.studyinjapan-cambodia.com or https://studyinjapan-asean.jp. Students can also visit the OJEIC Cambodia/Study in Japan - ASEAN Regional Office for Cambodia, at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) on the working day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
