On 24 May 2026, The Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) successfully held the 28th Japanese Speech Contest In Cambodia. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including H.E. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan in Cambodia, Dr. Oum Ravy, Vice-Rector of Royal University of Phnom Penh, and Mr. ISOGAYA Hiroyuki, Director of the Japan Foundation Phnom Penh Liaison Office, alongside representatives from sponsoring organizations and various Japanese language schools across Cambodia.
The Japanese language course at CJCC was adopted based on the Japan Foundation Standard for Japanese-Language Education (JFS), based on the concept of supporting the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the basis of language education in Europe.
"The new Japanese language course in Pchum Ben semester starts to open for the enrollment from today until October 12th, 2025.
The Application for the 2nd Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2025 is opened.
- The 1st Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) of 2025 will be open for registration from March 3 to March 26, 2025.
Japanese Quiz Game is usually conducted during Kizuna Festiwal in order to provide an opportunity to Japanese learners from all schools in Cambodia to compete their ability of Japanese language knowledge and general knowledge with each other, and it is also for building a good relationship between Cambodia and Japan. The purposes of this event strengthen the general knowledge about Khmer and Japan, and to build a good networking between CJCC and other Japanese schools.
