On 24 May 2026, The Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) successfully held the 28th Japanese Speech Contest In Cambodia. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including H.E. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan in Cambodia, Dr. Oum Ravy, Vice-Rector of Royal University of Phnom Penh, and Mr. ISOGAYA Hiroyuki, Director of the Japan Foundation Phnom Penh Liaison Office, alongside representatives from sponsoring organizations and various Japanese language schools across Cambodia.
The Japanese language course at CJCC was adopted based on the Japan Foundation Standard for Japanese-Language Education (JFS), based on the concept of supporting the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the basis of language education in Europe.
"The new Japanese language course in Pchum Ben semester starts to open for the enrollment from today until October 12th, 2025.
The Application for the 2nd Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2025 is opened.

The official Score Report and, for successful applicants, the Certificate of Proficiency will be sent to CJCC by the Japan Foundation. Once we receive them, an announcement will be published on our official Facebook page and Telegram channel.
Since the December 2025 JLPT, score reports have included CEFR levels as a
reference indicator. This addition helps applicants better understand their proficiency
and ensures international compatibility of JLPT results.
